Client Information

Booking & Service Policies

These policies are designed to respect your time, my time, and the privacy of every family I support.

Booking & Payment

Your appointment is confirmed after the appointment time and payment arrangements are completed. Please use the contact information on the website for booking until online scheduling is activated.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be non-refundable or require a new booking fee. Exceptions may be considered for emergencies.

Late Arrivals

Sessions end at the originally scheduled time so the next family is not delayed. If you arrive late, the session may be shortened. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting me, the appointment may be treated as a missed session.

Refunds

Completed sessions are non-refundable. If Equipped for the Autism Journey must cancel a paid session and a mutually agreeable reschedule cannot be arranged, the amount paid for that session will be refunded.

Communication Between Sessions

Brief scheduling or clarification messages are welcome. Ongoing coaching, document review, research, or case-specific guidance outside the scheduled session may require an additional appointment or service.

Privacy

Please do not send Social Security numbers, Medicaid case numbers, financial account information, medical records, or other highly sensitive documents by ordinary email. Only information reasonably necessary to provide the requested parent-support service should be shared.

Scope of Services

Services are educational parent support and general resource navigation. They are not medical, legal, psychological, clinical, financial, or government services and do not replace qualified professionals.

Katie Beckett Guidance

Guidance is educational and based on parent-support experience. Equipped for the Autism Journey does not determine Medicaid eligibility, represent Georgia Medicaid, submit decisions on behalf of the agency, or guarantee approval or any other outcome.

Before launch: These are practical business policies, not legal advice. Consider having your final client agreement, privacy practices, refund terms, and liability language reviewed by a Georgia attorney and your tax/payment setup reviewed by an appropriate professional.
